Earth energy represents the Mother: the provider and protector. This is not like immune protection, which we call defense, but protection from lack. Our basic needs are glucose and oxygen, and the lack of glucose is called hypoglycemia and the lack of oxygen is called anemia. Lacking this protection, the body feels vulnerable, sensitive, and allergic. With diabetes, there is more glucose than you need, but it can’t reach the cell so there is still a lack this vital nutrient.
