Should I get a Flu Shot?

The Great Flu Debate.

It may be the most talked about health issue year after year.  Flu Vaccine.

“Flu season is approaching and doctors say this might be the most deadly strain we have seen in years.  Pharmacies are worried about vaccine shortages.”

I’ve attended a few sales and marketing classes and was taught that you need Authority (doctors say), Social Proof (mainstream media), and Scarcity (worried about shortage).  And if you don’t have a need, just invent one…

You will die without our product!

Take a breath.  Slow and easy.  I had the flu a couple years ago with my kids, and it was a nice day.  We all threw up a couple times, but we took True Cold and Flu and watched movies all day.  I slept through some and enjoyed my snuggles.  It was a good day.

You will see published research that shows flu deaths have increased alongside increased vaccination rates.

I don’t know what is true.  I only know my experience.

My experience has been that every time you get sick, your immune system gets stronger.  Unless you take antibiotics, then it gets weaker.

flu vaccine

The Tamiflu study was removed.

Research says that Elderberry is 400% more effective than Tamiflu, cutting flu symptoms to only a day or two.  With nothing, aka Placebo, the flu averages 7 days.  With Tamiflu, the flu lasts 6 days on average.  (1)

If you are calm, just assess with basic logic.  Is the flu vaccine safe?  If yes, then is it effective?  If no, is the effect worth the risk?

Is it safe?

When someone gives you an answer, science tells us to consider Conflicts of Interest.  Pharmaceutical companies like Glaxo-Smith Kline share a 1.6 Billion annual paycheck for flu vaccines.  If I had 1.6 Billion, I bet I could even convince you that Nature heals.  (2)

But I was kicked out of insurance for healing a medical condition, and I have to work for free now.  Care Without Expectation.  I’ve healed Scleroderma twice, which medicine says is incurable.  (3)

Someone not getting a cut of the 1.6 Billion was Dr. Hugh Fudenberg. He was a clinical immunlogist who ran the Neuro Immuno Therapeutics Research Foundation in Spartanburg, SC.  Fudenberg published over 600 research papers to the National Library of Medicine. (4

He was quoted as saying, “if you have a flu shot for more than five years in a row, there’s ten times the likelihood that you’ll get Alzheimer’s disease.” (5)

To disprove the Alzheimer’s/flu shots connection, Toronto physicians went to nursing homes and asked people with Alzheimer’s if they remember getting a flu shot.  More couldn’t remember getting one than could. Not surprising since Alzheimer’s patients often do not remember the name of their spouse.

Anyway, based on this “research” they concluded the flu shots were safe but the disclaimer at the bottom of the study negated its value: “Because of the self-reported nature of the risk factor questionnaire we cannot exclude the possibility of recall bias.”  National media reported this as “proof” the flu shot was safe. They didn’t mention the disclaimer.  (6)

Fudenberg also saw a connection between MMR vaccine and autism.  Other doctors disagree, but we do know that our Federal government has paid 3.9 Billion dollars to parents of vaccine injured children since 1988, when the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program was founded. (7)

That’s our tax dollars used to protect these people from being sued for the harm they cause!autoimmune

What would be Dr. Fudenberg’s motive to lie and slander?  Doctors who disagree with medical guidelines tend to find their Medical license revoked.

The Respondent admitted that he has on numerous occasions obtained controlled substances and legend drugs, namely, Prosom, Ambien, Lasix, and potassium from a member of his office staff and others, and that he has unlawfully obtained these controlled substances for his own use, and has, in fact, used these medications.  (8)

The medications are for anxiety, insomnia and heart failure.

Officially, the side effects of Flu Vaccine are mild, including pain and swelling at the injection site, fever, rash and headache with rare reports of more severe immune reactions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome. (9)

I’m sure the benefits are vast.

CDC website: “Preliminary Assessment of the Effectiveness of the 2003-04 Inactivated Influenza Vaccine: Colorado, December 2003…Adjusted vaccine effectiveness for both estimates were not statistically significantly different from zero.”  With my knowledge of statistics, I interpret that it had no benefit. (10)

Early predictions were that flu vaccines would save the lives of about half of those vaccinated. Based on U.S. mortality rates from 1968 to 2001, the study by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases found no correlation between increasing vaccination rates and declining death rates in any age group.” The Archives of Internal Medicine  reports that influenza vaccination coverage among elderly persons (> or =65 years) in the United States increased from between 15% and 20% before 1980 to 65% in 2001. Unexpectedly, estimates of influenza-related mortality in this age group also increased during this period.” (11)

Yes, the number of flu related deaths increased as vaccination rates have increased. (12)

In 2014, a review of research reported, “The results of this review provide no evidence for the utilization of vaccination against influenza in healthy adults as a routine public health measure.  This review includes 90 studies, 24 of which (26.7%) were funded totally or partially by industry.  Out of the 48 RCTs, 17 were industry‐funded (35.4%).”  (13)

Again, just looking at data and statistics, so that emotions don’t get involved…JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) reported the results of a survey in the Feb 2002 issue.

Doctors who set the national guidelines for medical care for flu vaccines, are on the payroll of the pharmaceutical companies.  Only 50% of the guideline authors responded to the survey, and 87% of them acknowledged that they received compensation of some sort from one or more pharmaceutical companies.

What about the other half of guideline authors…this article suggests that the reality may be that more than 90% of the doctors who set guidelines for care in this country, actually work for the pharmaceutical industry. (14)

Industry guidelines say that flu vaccine is between 10 and 60% effective.  Effectiveness is calculated by taking hospital visits with confirmed flu virus, and comparing the percentage that had vaccination vs not having vaccination.  It’s confusing to me what and how they are calculating. (15)

I only speak for myself, but I don’t want to not get the flu.  If I make bad choices and weaken my immune system, I believe God sends the flu to help me get back on track.  I have faith in God and Nature.  Far more than Billion dollar corporations and wealthy white men.  Have you seen their historical record?  (16)

Have you watched Dances With Wolves?  White men need a spanking.  Those in power, anyway.

When I was a little boy, my mother brought me to Sunday school.  My teachers name was Faith.  She told me to watch out for and never worship false Gods.

I followed her advice, but the worship of profit still hurt my family considerably.  When an insurance doctor is kicked out of insurance, that means 70-80% of their income is gone, and a hospital would let them go.

That was my penalty for healing a medical condition. (17)  I couldn’t have made that up, because it’s beyond my imagination.

Mild Cognitive Impairment

I think I have Dementia.

Typically, symptoms include memory loss, problems using language, personality changes, and disruptive or inappropriate behavior.”  –MerckManual

OMG, that is exactly me.  It’s not mild cognitive impairment.  I am extremely disruptive to the way things are.  I was kicked out of insurance for healing a thyroid condition.  They said I am not allowed to heal “Medical Conditions.” You can read that story HERE if your interested.

Back to my Dementia.  My memory loss is not mild.  If I have to do something, like send an invoice at the end of the day, I have to write it down or I will not remember.  I learned of my disease when several patients reported that I didn’t send them their bill.  I got my first clue when I would walk into another room and forget why I came, and then walk back.  I’d go back the the last step I could remember and work forward again, and come to the place where I needed to go get the thing from the other room.  Then I’d walk into the other room, and forget what I came for.  Lol, I giggled when I did it twice in a row.

I have the unique perspective of a healer, though.

I can fix things that real doctors cannot, so I’d just fix it if it started to bother me.  If I have to go into the other room, I just repeat “camera, camera, camera” in my head until I get there.  Oh yeah, speaking of the camera, if I put something in the wrong spot, I can’t seem to find it for days.  I’ve ordered the same cord for my camera 3 times now!

One time, I was picking up Savannah from a class, and walked in to meet her.  When we walked out together, I couldn’t remember where I parked the car.  I called the number for towing they have on the parking meters.  I got a recorded message, so we kept looking around.  Walking up and down and up and down, we finally ran into my car.

I recently asked Savannah if I scare her, if she’s scared of me in any way?  She said, “the memory loss is kinda scary.”  My kids are the only ones who knew the truth!  At least of how severe it is.  “Dad, you told me that yesterday, which was the third time you told me, and this makes the fourth!  When are you going to fix your brain?!

60-80% of dementia is caused by Alzheimer’s.

Another version is Vascular Dementia, where memory is affected by a stroke or arterial blockage.  I’m moving around just fine.  Physically, I’m in the best shape of my life!

Then there’s Lewy Body Dementia, where memory is affected by the damage of Parkinson’s disease.  And FrontoTemperal Dementia, where the cognitive parts of the brain are damaged, which they blame on your parents (genetic), or some unknown reason.  This dementia is characterized by personality and behavior problems, more than memory.

I’ve received more hugs in the last 6 months than I did in the first 46 years and 5 months.  Maybe it’s a disease!  LOL.

The last type listed in the Medical Playbook, is HIV induced Dementia.  Lol, I slept in a bed with 2 people with lice last year, and the lice didn’t find my immune defenses hospitable.

Oh-No!  That leaves one thing.  Alzheimer’s Disease.

According to the Medical Playbook, I have 7 years to live.  They suggest I come to them for a pill that might slow the progression.  What!?  Read the stages of Alzheimer’s disease in my last blog!  I’d rather hurry this along if that’s the best I can expect!!  –MerckManual

I expect way more from Mother Nature.  My last blog shared all the resources I will be using to fix Alzheimer’s or whatever my brain damage is called.  Today was my first day.  I was mixing a vodka lemonade, which has 5 steps, 2 packets stevia, 2 oz vodka, 2 oz Mt. Zevia, 2 shots of True Neuro-Regeneration and True Heavy Metal Detox, and fill with water.  I forgot what step I was on.  Lol.  I didn’t expect it to work today!

Healing is a process, and I’ll blog daily until I can remember what I wrote yesterday.  LOL…Most mornings I read my blog like you do, to see what I wrote.

This was my entry for Day 1!

Click Here to see my entire protocol.

DAY 2: The story behind my new disease.

After getting kicked out of every insurance for crimes such as healing a medical condition, my practice and income suffered.  Just to give you an idea, we had our family vehicle repossessed twice in the past 4 years.

During that time, I went through two really bad illnesses, and both were transformational.  You can read my “origins story” HERE!   I can’t find any other explanation than “God took over.”

It led me to Care Without Expectation.  I can’t tell you how many times I have heard, “I really want to let you help me, but you’re not in my insurance network, and I can’t afford to pay out of pocket.  We’re broke paying our insurance premiums.

I fixed that.

I took away the fees for our care, so my patients pay whatever they can or want and I wasn’t worried, because when people feel the relief and healing I can give them, they will be very appreciative!

I’m slow by comparison to the stories Faith, my sunday school teacher, told of another healer she called the Son of GodBut no less amazing.  Incurable diseases, terminal illness, and one “blind to see” story.

Whatever you bring me, I tend to figure it out, nearly every time.  This woman brought me pain that took three years to get to “pain free,” but she was pretty appreciative when I was able to take away a fraction of her pain!  I was her 10th or 11th doctor, and the first to be able to find a healing trend.

Zig Ziglar used to tell large audiences of people, “You can have everything you want in life if you give enough people what they want.”  Maybe I take things too literally? Lol

Care Without Expectation would need financial support, at least at first.  I took out a loan to build a website to sell our medicines and a membership site that teaches the healer of your family how to heal.  All I used to heal incurable diseases was my hands and plant medicines.  You don’t have to be a doctor to touch people or use plant medicine.  If you have a healing heart, I can show you how to do what I do.

Goodness, if I taught a hundred or thousand more people to heal like Jesus (although a bit slower) that could change the world.  The story of Sam, another healer!

The loan was heavy.  $525 was taken from our clinic collections every week.  We needed to make some extra money fast.  I was able to create “sales pages” with the software I used for the membership site.  My first “best attempt” was cough medicine for marijuana users.  I thought, “I won’t have to convince them of the power of Mother Nature.

I think they might be paranoid?  Lol  I couldn’t even give away free samples, “just pay shipping.”  I felt certain that if I could get people to try plant medicines, they will see for themselves what I witnessed in my clinic!

The next best step was selling True Clear Skin to kids with Acne.  When acne is bad, Momma’s would try anything to relieve their baby’s pain.  Every person who tried it raved about the results, so I spent some money on ads to have google and fb send people to our “sales page.”

No sales, which meant I hurt our financial situation instead of helped.  We needed to offset the 525 per week before the loan was completely used up.  I did my best calculating how much working capital we would need to get to the website grand opening plus another 6 months or so.  I knew it would take time for people to find True Health and feel comfortable enough to try our products.

Whoops, a miscommunication with our web design people, and we are 6 weeks behind.  (I love their product and I’m know to be difficult to understand, so that is not a “bad review!”)  It’s just how life works.

At this point, I am working on sales pages and responding to needs of the web designer, which was mostly CONTENT, until 5:00 AM, and getting up at 9:00 AM to see patients.

The first recollection I have of mild cognitive impairment was when I wanted to reach the loan company for a little more working capital.  I couldn’t remember who the loan was with, and I couldn’t find any of the paperwork!  I ended up calling another company, which started the credit check process over again.  They needed a daily record of collections and when they checked my bank, it was already in the red.

Crap, if not for the onset of Alzheimer’s, I probably could have extended my loan with the first lender because I hadn’t missed a payment!  I held it together until there were only 5 or 6 payments left.

Then there was a minor financial collapse (compared to our President’s history anyway) and a tough time pulling it back together, but we did it.  My rent was nearly on time this month.  Lol.

That’s better off than the four years after the last insurance company kicked me out.  A “healing trend” that doesn’t rely on these guys.

Mother Nature

And now that I have more stability, I put my focus on pulling together my brain and memory.  Alzheimer’s IS getting kind of annoying.  Today I looked for 45 minutes for the black thing on that camera.  Lol.  “If it were a snake, it woulda bit me.”

That was how I was told I was an idiot for not seeing what was so obvious in my childhood.

Now it qualifies to be named early stage Alzheimer’s Disease.

No noticeable healing trend yet.

DAY 3 (June 8)

My mind was slightly more clear today, maybe, but I wouldn’t call it a healing trend until I feel absolutely sure.  I don’t recall doing anything really stupid today.  lol.

Day 4

I noticed how badly I messed something up.  Does that mean clarity is returning?

Days 5-13 (June 18)

I decided there was no point in logging daily.  With appendicitis, I monitored the trend (am I winning or losing) by the minute.  With Scleroderma it was week to week, and I was losing until I noticed the extreme flare ups from Gluten.  I call those experiences my origins story.  You can read the adventures and lessons HERE!

Alzheimer’s dementia may be more easily monitored by the month.  I noticed the trend in the last several days though.  So about 2 weeks to notice your head start to clear.  I went to the store without everything written down on a list!!  If you know this condition first hand, you know that is a big deal!

Days 14-22 (June 26)

I have nearly given up notebooks and note pads.  I have a message notebook for voicemails, and have jotted a few “do this later” notes, but rarely.  And even when I do, I remember before I check the book.

When I don’t remember something, I can concentrate and track it down.  My connections are reconnecting!

Days 23-33 (July 3)

One Month Review:  After just over a month, the results are clear.  My brain is more clear and function is improving.  A healing trend in a disease that medical doctors claim is unstoppable.

I am not healed, but I am healing.  I still have the twilight zone moments of arriving to the next moment and I’ve lost track of where I was coming from or why I was going this direction.  If you know what I mean, you should start this program to retrieve your brain function NOW, before it’s bad enough that your family makes you go to the doctor!

Then you get the sad prognosis of dementia.  I wish they would just tell the truth.  “I can’t do anything for you with the resources that I use.  You’ll have to look outside.”  Lol.  Yes, Nature is outside.  And she really knows healing.

I’m going to increase my acupressure frequency, which is no big deal after a month.  You know the points by memory and can do them quickly while you wait at the red light or waiting room.  I will keep going until I have NO twilight zone moments, which was my “normal” at age 40.

2020:  That was 2018, and now, I am fine.    Brain, memory, and good health at 51!

Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Mother Nature

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by cognitive decline…

dementia

…behavioral and psychological symptoms, and impaired activities of daily living. Patients with Alzheimer’s disease are faced with the inevitable decline from mild to moderate and, eventually, to severe stages of the disease and death.

“I had early onset cognitive impairment after losing my income for helping a woman with a medical condition and not being able to sleep.  This is how I healed my brain and memory!
-Dr. Stone

The American Medical Association observes that, once diagnosed with Dementia, the average life span is 5-10 years, but some barely make 2 years, and others live up to 20 more years.  No matter how long, every year is progressively worse.

Mild Cognitive Impairment is characterized by walking downstairs and forgetting why you made the trek.

In the mild Alzheimer’s stages, you “can’t find the word” and “lose track of time.”  Moderate Alzheimer’s stages begins when you ask the same questions over and over and forget that you are frying an egg!  That seems to worry everyone.

Severe Alzheimer’s stages begins when you lose the ability to repeat 3 words back after I say them, which means you don’t don’t even retain the last few seconds or minutes of your life.  Before you die, you forget your own people and language.  Every visit, we meet for the first time, again, and you can’t recall the word “chair” as you point me to have a seat.  –Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease 2016

alzheimer's stages

And then you die.  If you are lucky, it could take 20 years.  If you are unlucky, this progression can take as little as a couple years.

LUCK depends on your perspective, of course.  Some might say passing is a blessing if you can’t recall the last few seconds of your life!

That is your prognosis, your future, if you rely solely on Conventional Medicine.  Lucky or not.

I thought that sounded horrifying, so I scoured the globe for anything that might offer hope for improvement or remission of a progressive disease.  I found scientific evidence that Dementia can be reversed and prevented!!

You can prevent Alzheimers!

alzheimer, lewy body dementia

Gotu Kola

Aluminum is fed to lab animals to cause Alzheimer’s disease so researchers can test medicines without risking harm to humans.  This study observed the effect of feeding half the animals a plant called Gotu Kola with the aluminum.  Gotu Kola significantly reduced the characteristic brain damage compared to the animals not receiving Gotu Kola, even with acute poisoning.

True Heavy Metal Detox is our medicine for gently eliminating heavy metals such as Aluminum and Mercury.  At my weight, seven doses of Mylanta per day would cause Alzheimer’s in 30 days, based on the mg/bodyweight dosing they use to cause Alzheimer’s disease in Lab animals.

The “safe” intake of aluminum is listed as 10 mg per day for a 170 pound adult.

Aluminum compounds may be added during processing of foods, such as:

  • flour
  • baking powder
  • coloring agents
  • anticaking agents

“An average adult in the United States eats about 7–9 mg of aluminum per day in their food.” –CDC

The amount used to cause Alzheimers in 30 days would be 3,800 mg per day for a 170 pound animal.  Antacids may have up to 900 mg per dose.  Aspirin is buffered with 10-20 mg of aluminum per pill.  Aluminum pans serve fish patties with 75 mg of aluminum per patty.  Acidic liquids cooked in aluminum pans can absorb as much as 300 mg per cup (some were very low, which I imagine is the difference between cheap and high quality, aka expensive). –

Our government claims “we aren’t sure if aluminum causes Alzheimer’s” while our scientists use aluminum to induce Alzheimers in lab animals.  I take a dose of True Heavy Metal Detox every day because it binds and eliminates environmental toxins that hurt, even the heaviest and hardest.   I find formaldehyde to be a greater danger (Read about Formaldehyde HERE), and more of the reason I detox daily, because it cleans and clears everything!

I’m not big into politics.  Does our government do a lot of lying?!?

Step 1: True Heavy Metal Detox – Clean the Brain

Step 2: Heal the Brain

Curcumin is one of the most promising and exciting compounds for development of Alzheimer’s Disease therapeutics.

In India the incidence of Alzheimer’s is one tenth the incidence in the USA, thought to be because of their high consumption of Turmeric.   Turmeric also has a beneficial effect on diabetes, which drastically increases your risk of developing dementia.

Alzheimer’s is characterized by inflammatory and oxidative damage to brain cells, causing “tangles” and protein clumping called Beta Amyloid Plaques.  Lewy Body dementia is named for another version of protein clumping.  Diabetes greatly accelerates the clumping and tangles, while Curcumin reduces clumping and tangles and lowers elevated blood sugar.  –Neural Regeneration Research 2018

lewy body dementia

In China, doctors use curcumin to diagnose the severity of AD.  Curcumin can be labeled with radioactive nuclides so it glows vividly on brain scan.  It has a significant attraction to plaques and tangles, almost like it knows what needs healing, making it the perfect “dye” to scan for early Alzheimer’s stages and to monitor progression  and severity.

Human Studies:  Curcumin improved cognitive function and reduced fatigue and psychological stress in a healthy older population, but didn’t fare much better than a placebo with diagnosed Alzheimer’s.

We’re not looking for a miracle pill or potion, though, We’re looking for what Alzheimer’s needs to heal.  Always start with a healthy diet.  This diet is proven to reduce the incidence of Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Axe does a swell job of describing the dietary and lifestyle factors that reduce the incidence of Alzheimer’s Disease.  I find it boring to have someone tell me that we have to move our bodies, challenge our minds, and eat whole foods.  I also know how challenging it was to find the truth about what we need to eat, so I’m happy that Dr. Axe makes it easy to find!

If you already Have Alzheimer’s or Cognitive Impairment, we need a good bit more Help and HOPE than Prevention can provide!  I found 4 resources that have improved Alzheimer’s in human models.

MCTs in Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil contains Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs).  If you aren’t familiar, PaleoLeap.com can get you up to speed!

Researchers at Louisiana State University (LSU) gave MCTs to early stage Alzheimer’s patients and memory performance increased over 24 weeks.  There were only 2 people in the MCT group, and 2 in the placebo group, but MCT’s improved a progressive disease, twice!  With NO SIDE EFFECTS!  –

If anyone I loved and cared for had early signs of AD, I’d have them on True Heavy Metal Detox, Gotu Kola, Curcumin and MCTs in a heartbeat, but I wouldn’t stop there.

Fish Oils

I’d drastically increase anyone-with-dementia’s dose of Fish Oils.

Have you gotten the scoop on Omega 3 and 6 fats?

Dr. Chris Kresser teaches the basics in more detail, but the simple message is clear!  Get your ratio as close to 1:1 as POSSIBLE, and you will prevent / improve nearly every disease!  –

If your Omega 3 to 6 ratio is low, like 1/20…the incidence of tangles and clumping increases.  If you get closer to 1/1, your brain size (volume) increases, and your memory clearly works better!  –

Human Studies: Eighteen people with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) were given fish oil daily for 12 months, and compared to 18 patients receiving a placebo.  “The fish oil group showed significant improvement in short-term and working memory, immediate verbal memory and delayed recall capability.”  –

Acupressure or Acupuncture.

Ten randomized controlled trials with a total of 585 participants evaluated the effectiveness of Acupuncture on Alzheimer’s disease.   Results of 6 trials showed that acupuncture was better than drugs at improving scores on the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) scale.  Evidence from the results of 3 trials showed that acupuncture plus Aricept was more effective than Aricept alone at improving the MMSE scale score.  –.

I’ll share which points they used at the end.  They used acupuncture, but I’ve done quite well healing folks with acupressure, and  I’ll show you how easy it is…at the end.

True Neuro-Regeneration

Alzheimers progresses from not being able to recall the last few minutes, to the last few seconds, and then you can’t recall what a bird or chair is called.  In 2014, Alzheimer’s patients received Bacopa, Wild Yam and Sea Buckthorne.  Instead of progressing toward death, their word recall improved by 30%.  Their functional ability improved by 21%.  –

“Alzheimer’s disease regressed.”   Lol.  I wouldn’t say it that way.  I’d say health, healing, and function improved or progressed by 30%.  Just words though.

I’d definitely include these plants!

Plant Medicines that reverse Alzheimer’s Disease.

There is actually some pretty exciting research out there, but it may be 5o years before it gets to human testing.  These are studies on Animal Models of Alzheimer’s.

Are you willing to wait 50 years to see if something harmless is good enough for science to approve it as treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease or Lewy Body Dementia?

I didn’t have 50 years to wait, so I went forward with the best medicine that science has to offer.  There are no harmful side effects, so my worst case is wasting some money on medicine while I normally deteriorate per the medical model.  (Two years later, I am happy and healthy!!)

Aluminum is fed to rats or mice to reproduce the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s so that researchers can evaluate the effects of different medicines.  So far, no pharmaceutical has reversed clumping and tangles or improved memory.  So far, no plant medicine has had a side effect bad enough to not give them a try, and these plants reversed AD!

alzheimer

In animal models, a 30-d course of Ashwaghanda reversed behavioral deficits, plaque pathology, accumulation of β-amyloid peptides (decreased tangles and clumps!) AND increased acetylcholine by 40%.  Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter associated with learning and memory. –.

lewy body dementia“In this study, we found that oral administration of Reishi Mushroom promoted rapid nerve cell reproduction and alleviated cognitive deficits in animal models of Alzheimer’s Disease.  Our findings suggest that Reishi could serve as a regenerative therapeutic agent for the treatment of cognitive decline associated with neurodegenerative diseases.”  –.

There were no side effects…no danger in trying it.

Ginseng significantly decreased memory impairment in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease in 30 days. Ginseng repairs the damage of the hippocampus, decreases clumping and tangles, and improves neurotransmitter levels.”  –

Environmental enrichment (EE) has been shown to enhance cognitive function in mouse models of Alzheimer‘s disease.  The addition of Magnesium  improved cognition and spatial memory more effectively than either treatment alone.”  –

“According to tests, Methyl-cobalamin (Vit B12)  improved intellectual functions, such as memory, emotional functions, and communication with other people. Improvements in cognitive functions were relatively constant when the vitamin B12 levels in the cerebrospinal fluid were high.   There were no side effects attributable to methyl-cobalamin.”  –

The plants and nutrients that protect and heal the brain, even with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, are the ingredients of True Neuro-Regeneration.

If anyone I loved and cared for had early signs of AD, I’d have them on True Heavy Metal Detox, True Neuro-Regeneration, high dose fish oils and Coconut Oil in a heartbeat!

True Neuro-Regeneration gives you this much hope…  100 people got better instead of worse.

Add the 2 people that got better instead of worse using MCTs, and the 18 that got better instead of worse using Fish Oils, and the hundreds of animal models that got better instead of worse using Ashwaghanda, Reishi, Ginseng, Magnesium, and B12.

Plus Gotu Kola and Curcumin, which seem to love and protect the brain.

I put Mother Nature’s Healing together for you in our Cognitive Impairment Kit.  I hope you appreciate the relief and restoration of life for your loved ones.

What Causes Food Allergies or Sensitivities?!

This was the second worst case of food allergies I have treated!

(I’ll link the worst case at the end)

Shirley had food allergies to everything except “about five foods.” Meat, egg, cucumber, squash, and green beans.   Anything else and she would feel a painful tightness around her neck, her hair would come out in clumps, she would get adrenaline rushes in her stomach, and she wouldn’t sleep for 4 days.

Almonds would nearly cause a panic attack.  She rated her urge, desire, or craving for carbs of any type as 10 out of 10, but the pain “junk food” caused was far worse than fighting the urge.

Listen to what her average day felt like graded from zero to ten.  Back and Neck Pain 7.  Depression 10.  Anxiety 9.  Energy 1.  Quality of Sleep 2.  “How much has your health disrupted your ability to work, serve your loved ones, connect with people, have fun, and be happy: 10 out of 10!  Oh, and being a woman, her period, was unbearable.  She couldn’t get out of bed.

On her intake forms, the symptom she listed as top priority was irritability.  I thought it felt more like anger.   We call it irritability when there’s no clear reason to be angry.  She had good reason to be angry, nobody would help her!

For ten years, every doctor she asked for help said, “Everything checks out fine, just keep watching those food allergies.”

She started researching herself and found an alternative medicine concept called Candida.  Alternative doctors believe it is a systemic yeast infection caused by the overuse of antibiotics and sugar.  In her 20s, she was treated with antibiotics for a full year straight for a sinus infection.  In her 30s her hair started falling out which she eventually connected to the food allergies.  And here we are, in her 40s, and she can eat fewer than TEN foods that Mother Earth provides for our nourishment.

She is barely hanging on, and her doctor dismisses her as “fine.”  With no answers for her suffering, Shirley asks if this “Candida thing” could be a possibility?  She described his response as demeaning, almost mocking of the possibility that doctors might have caused her suffering.

Doctor’s in Madrid, Spain wanted to know the truth, so they calculated the incidence of superinfections for various antibiotics.  Superinfection is the term doctors use to refer to an infection with an antibiotic resistant microorganism following a course of antibiotics.  Nearly every other person prescribed ciprofloxacin contracted a superinfection, and the most common organism was Candida.

This study was published five years before she asked her doctor if Candida was a possibility, and he laughed her out of his clinic.  Hmmm…a person who doesn’t have the answer, yet will not look outside of what he knows, is an imbecile and a danger to our people.

Perfect, we already found the root cause of her irritability, and all I had to do was listen to her to resolve that part of her pain.

If I could find the root cause for her hair loss, exhaustion, and other symptoms, I could heal this whole woman, including her anger and distrust towards doctors.  Well, at least toward the ones with open minds.

True Health Clinic tests through problems a bit different than conventional medicine.  Instead of ruling in or out hypothyroidism, or whatever condition, we scan the whole system for stress, and support any weaknesses with nourishment.

Our scan revealed that she had a parasitic infection.  Threadworm.  Insurance guidelines consider testing for parasites only with a case history of diarrhea.  Medical education teaches that roundworms are known for their characteristic skin rash.

food allergies

Healing Traditions teaches that when you see this rash, give your children oregano, cloves, and garlic.

Medical education teaches that if you don’t find this parasite, it will live in you your whole life.

They teach that a pharmaceutical is better than our healing traditions, but it is imperative the right medication is taken.  If it is missed, you become a home for a parasitic worm that  slowly depletes your body’s energy and strength.

When you finally go see the doctor for exhaustion, hair loss, and insomnia, insurance guidelines say check for thyroid problems, anemia, and kidney disease.  If the results are negative, insurance guidelines give the doctor permission to prescribe pain relievers, antidepressants, and sleep medication.

Insurance protocol doesn’t cover testing for parasites with Shirley’s case history.

Insurance guidelines state that Candida has been proven not to cause chronic fatigue, so we won’t cover that either.  – MerckManual   Doctors are scared to run tests that aren’t considered within the guidelines, because if a doctor shows up on Insurance’s statistical report as a red flag, they can cut you out.  I know that pain all too well!

I was forced to resign from BCBS because I spent too much time with my patients, which was reflected statistically as my average charge per visit.  I pointed out that my average cost per patient or case was notably lower.  Perhaps I spent more time per visit, but I had far fewer visits!  Wasn’t I saving them money!

That didn’t matter one bit.  He brought me right back to the number that didn’t fit in their guidelines, and threatened an investigation of my clinic.  He actually told me that there are no doctors that take clinic notes well enough to pass insurance guidelines, and the average fine per investigation was $50,000.   I was given 3 months to let my patients know that I would no longer be covered by insurance.

I’m not complaining!  Yeah, unfair, but without their push, I may not have found my happiness, which I call Care Without Expectation.  I just want you to understand why it is so hard to get Doctors to keep looking, and not dismiss you as fine, when you are NOT fine!

Shirley’s testing also indicated that she had Candida.

Insurance guidelines say that a doctor can prescribe an antibiotic for sinus infections.  There is no protocol or guideline if it doesn’t work though!  So poor Shirley went back with the same sinus infection for a full year, stuck on step 62…prescribe antibiotic for sinus infection.  She was nearly guaranteed a superinfection.

Yeast and parasites inflamed her intestines, causing poor digestion and leaky gut, which further caused adrenal exhaustion and immune hyper-sensitivity.  She came to True Health to Get The Right Diagnosis, and that was what I found.  Lol…that doesn’t sound “fine” at all!

Is finding the problem the “right diagnosis,”  or is it finding the solution?

It took a few visits to get all her results back.  The ongoing intensity of her symptoms sounded like this when she gave her updates, “I’m not sleeping at all, I feel sick, but lay in bed too wired to sleep.  I stand up and feel very dizzy and my hair is coming out in bunches.  I’m having lots of hot flashes, I’m not digesting my food, and I have no motivation.

The next visit we had all the results back.  We confirmed the parasite and prescribed the solution, a plant called Morinda.  You might even remember a few years back, Noni, which is Morinda’s common name, made a little buzz as a crappy tasting juice that “cured everything.”

Morinda may not be a cure all, but it works very well with parasites, so if you have them, it feels like a miracle.  A couple more visits and we hear the first positive report. “better energy,” and then “sleeping well,” and then “gut rushes and collar around my neck is gone.”

We added a powerful mushroom called Cordyceps for adrenal fatigue, and Immunoglobulins for leaky gut.  The Merck Manual says that “there are many abnormal immune findings with chronic fatigue, including low Immunogobulins,” but they can’t make any sense of it.  Lol…who put them in charge, again?

After a few months on these medicines, a couple plants and a dairy protein, her hair stopped falling out!   I call that a healing trend.

Shirleys trend was pretty bumpy compared to average because of her extreme food allergies.  As she felt better, she stretched her dietary limits, which needed stretching, and paid a price most of the time.  A healing trend meant the price was getting lower though!

We added Lemon Balm to help calm the reactions.

Shirley had been a patient of  True Health for around a year when she reported that her periods no longer put her in bed.  Not perfect, but not unbearable!  A good trend!!

A couple months later, she decided she was tough enough to go out for a few beers.  That cost her a few nights sleep, so not quite yet.  She brought a beer with her to the next visit, asking if we could “calm that reaction too?”  We did our best, adding Ginseng root for the strength it offers, and I believe she was able to go out for a few beers at least once without a reaction.

That was six years ago!  Shirley is still very sensitive, and when she pushes her limits, the reactions are still more intense than average, by a long ways!  But, more like a “normal person” now, the foods that hurt her are mostly indulgences, and we all have to watch those!

Shirley was one of my last few insurance patients.  God, I hated insurance.

As God helped me move further and further away from insurance, I saw less and less of Shirley.  My most recent insurance termination was for helping a woman who was ready to give in to death.  We found the right diagnosis, and she returned to life to feel best ever at age 69, and I was terminated for “treating a medical condition.”  Lol…I couldn’t make this crap up, because I would never have imagined...!!!

All good.  With no insurance reimbursement, I created The Metabolic Tune-Up which is virtual, so I can resolve medical conditions all over the country!!

Shirley-

“I share my story for hope, and the strength to fight for healing. This was a long, hard struggle, and only Dr. Stone had the resources to figure out what was at the root of my suffering.  Thanks, Dr. Stone!”

Ok, I promised the worst case.  This little girl was down to 2 or 3 foods.  I couldn’t make it up, because I would never have imagined!
