Metal is the Element that includes the Large Intestine and Lungs.

The Five Elements is a philosophy of healing and life used in acupuncture and acupressure healing practices.

You don’t need a doctorate to understand symbolism!  The Large Intestine “lets go” of everything that isn’t needed or somehow serving us.  The Lungs “let go” by exhaling, and breathe in life, through Inspiration.

Metal is the Element of Reflection.  We reflect back on Harvest, represented by the Earth Element, and make a choice, what do I let go of, and what do I move toward?

Hint: It should inspire!

If you let go of what does not serve, your inspired vision of next season becomes as clear as a failed tomato harvest inspires a bountiful tomato harvest.  And if you choose your Next Best Step from this deep reflection on What Matters Most, your inspired next step will feel Good.

If you fail to let go, you will feel constipated and toxic.  If you let go of what you need, it will be difficult to locate an inspired vision of next season.

You will find yourself moving toward something like “looking good” and “being right.”  Those are the goals that destroy your energy and heart desire, your Fire Energy.  I share that destruction HERE.  Earth destroys Fire.

When Metal destroys Earth, by failing to let go of what you don’t need, or letting go of what you DO need, you struggle with blood sugar problems.  When your blood is syrupy sweet, you attract yeast.
