Wood is the structure of life.  Our boundaries and steps we take toward expansion.

The Five Elements symbolize the movement of energy in acupuncture and acupressure healing practices.

The Wood Element represents everything sprouting from the Earth.  The Earth Element represents the harvest.  The Bible says “You reap what you sow.”  The Five Elements, which was conceived before the Bible, says “Wood controls Earth.”

Water creates Wood.  In life, our Water Energy is our Choice of Direction.  What actions do you take, or not take.  In our culture, Water is represented by the leader and the voice of the Greater Good.  The archetypes that symbolize Water energy are the Ruler and the Innocent.

The Ruler is the masculine, or Yang energy, and the Innocent is the feminine, or Yin energy.

The Ruler creates boundaries (laws) to protect the innocent, and the Innocent protects the Ruler with guiding Values and Principles.

When the Innocent has equal pull on the reins, everyone is cared for.

My daughter Savannah asked me in Whole Foods, while looking around at it’s Big-Ness, “I can’t believe there are people starving to death in our world…who’s in charge?”  I laughed a small, uncomfortable laugh, and explained, “A man who could probably feed them all.”

If  “the Donald” were guided by the Values and Principles of the Innocent.

It wouldn’t have mattered which year she asked.  Our last Ruler fined me for not carrying health insurance that wouldn’t cover True Health.  Lol, his website says “We Love You Back.”  He also signed a bill that offers greater legal protection to billion dollar corporations that produce Round-Up, the OTC weed killer.

Innocent “nerd-type” researchers are investigating a strong correlation between Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease and Round-Up.

You can only access the summary of most studies for free.  I’ve clicked through to purchase a few papers that were of interest, and they generally run around $100!   This one was FREE…maybe the Rulers figured nobody would listen to these dorks anyway.  Lol.

Water creates Wood and Wood controls Earth.

The lack of Wood, sprouting growth, leaves Earth a desert.  Sand blowing out of control.  Too much Wood leaves overgrown, with weeds choking out the gentle blossoms and the nourishing plants that we call our food.

How appropriate.  I call the people who trample (hurt, harm, or deceive) the innocent for profit, “hard dicks.”  With apologies for the harshness of those words. I didn’t invent words, I learned them just like you, and I was also taught another slang for erection was Wood.

What would you call the trampling of True Health?

Our Actions determines what Sprouts, and what Sprouts controls our Harvest.  I innocently tried to fit in, and what sprouted again and again was my termination as a Health Insurance Provider for not fitting in.

The Actions that didn’t fit in and cost my family’s security…I spent too much time with patients, and… treated a medical condition.  I’m not kidding.  I helped a woman feel better than she could ever remember, and because I referred to her symptoms as Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, when I shared her story on my website, I was terminated for treating a medical condition without a license.  

I said, “Oh, is that like a fishing license?  Do I get one at the gas station?”  Nope.

They call it medical school.  They tell you everything they know and that there is nothing else to know.  “We only look cool, if everyone stick to the same story.”  It goes like this…  “I’m sorry, you have a ‘named’ disease.  We don’t know what causes it, it’s all so complicated, with genes and all, and you’ve put on some weight, plus you’re definitely getting older, so anyway…this can reduce the burning, but might cause more drooping.  Its the best way, and nothing else works better.  Oh yeah, you’ll have to take it for the rest of your life.

Medicine claimed her, and insisted she take Synthroid for the rest of her life.  Synthroid made her feel worse, so she went back to the Doctor.  He told her she must be wrong, “this is the only play in our playbook.”

She spent 10 years searching, before she found True Health.  She had no money left, and very little life.  That was 10 years before I converted True Health Clinic into Care Without Expectation, but I gave her my best for whatever she could exchange.  My best achieved better than she had ever felt in her life, at age 69.

She didn’t have the Health Insurance that terminated me for telling her story.  she had the one that terminated me for spending too much time with patients.  I gave this woman her life back, and my reward was termination from my last Insurance Company.  I was done.  Out.

Maybe you don’t fully appreciate the pull that Health Insurance has on the reins of healing.  Health Insurance controls the income of Doctors.  If they don’t follow Insurance Guidelines, their security can be terminated.

Health Insurance is For Profit. Denying care increases their profit.  It looks like they are doing pretty well…how are you doing?

Terminating Doctors who don’t follow their guidelines didn’t feel like a Profit thing.  It was just blind clinging to control.  Boundaries that mean more than people, and more than facts.  The first infraction I refer to as spending too much time with patients, was flagged as “billed average per visit.”  The amount I billed per visit was higher than average.  I pointed to line 5.  This one says, “billed per client/diagnosis.”  How much did I bill to resolve a patients problem or diagnosis, and over a lifetime.  “My number is way lower than average.”

Unless I don’t understand math, that wasn’t about profit, it was about control.

The man who terminated me from the next Insurance Company claimed he read my Melissa Beats Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis story.  He didn’t care that it was a happy story, he had to uphold the rules.  I was out.

After that, every person who wanted help, I had to describe a $2000-5000 hurdle to get over to receive my care.  Some would say, it doesn’t matter what it costs.  Many more said, I can’t afford it.”  Often followed by, “I pay so much for health insurance.”  Over the next four years, I watched security crumble with five children.  Not once but twice, we watched our transportation, our family vehicle, repossessed because I didn’t have the money to pay.

I was hopeful that healing people would pay better.  Lol

I hired consultants that claimed to have million dollar CASH practices.  They said something to the effect that “these people are desperate, just name your price and they will pay it.”  “If they don’t pay, you don’t see your self worth.  See it as bigger and bigger.”

Maybe I just wasn’t a dick!?

I would never fit in the mainstream, because I have helped so many people with “medical conditions” find freedom from pharmaceuticals and “Medical conditions.”  And I tell all the stories.  Click on Conditions, and find your condition.  If there isn’t a healing story already there, come to True Health, and we’ll make one.

I would never fit in with manly functional medicine million dollar doctors, either.  I’m a MTHFing Lady.  I give first, and trust that I am enough of a woman that you will show appreciation, and I make sure nobody is left behind.
